Our staff are motivated, dedicated and doing work that really matters.NAAJA INDIGENOUS PRISONER THROUGHCARE are currently seeking an INTENSIVE CASE MANAGER – ADULT to join our team. The position will be based in Alice Springs.NAAJA Indigenous Prisoner Throughcare aims to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait people reintegrate to the community following their release from prison. This is accomplished through strengths-based pre-and post-release intensive case management.The Intensive Case Manger – Adult will work with Indigenous prisoners at the Alice Springs Correctional Centre and Barkly Work Camp, beginning four to six months prior to their release from prison and continuing until they have successfully reintegrated to the community.The successful applicant will have the proven ability to lead high quality individual case management, a familiarity with the criminal justice system and the social/systemic issues faced by Aboriginal people, the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and develop professional and meaningful relationships with Aboriginal people and their families.
