SA - Western Cape, Boland / WinelandsINTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION ASSOCIATESTELLENBOSCHR40 000 CTC - R70 000 - DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate for this role is generally responsible for the handling of disputes in the field of intellectual property law, including specifically High Court litigation and other dispute or claim resolution proceduresMinimum requirements: Law degree from reputable universityAdmitted attorney in South Africa in good standing with the LPCFellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law3 years of relevant experience in a midlevel roleRunning with matters without undue oversight, but always with the support of other members of the departmentGenerally attending competently and successfully to all aspects of IP dispute work, including:Drafting of letters of demandFiling and management of South African trade mark oppositions; and handling foreign dispute matters with correspondent attorneysAttending to advisory work in relation to trade marks, copyright, domain names, company name objections, and watching services generallyWriting blog postsDrafting and review of IP-related agreements Consultant: Elaine Braysher - Dante Personnel Faerie Glen
