Integration Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities:Set conformance standards for integration messaging e.g HL7, FHIR for the Organization and SubsidiariesAssist with the establishment of integration standards, processes and architecture recommendations for Organization and SubsidiariesEnsure optimal / flexible integration design through business, system, and technical analysisParticipate in the requirement analysis and decomposition, design, internal testing and documentation of the integrations (existing and new)Work closely with System architects and Integration Programmers and maintain key relations within the ICT environmentKeep a register of web services/APIs and integration points per party with specific detailAssist in the operational management of integration solutionsRequirements:Degree or formal certification in ICT/Computer Science3-5 years experience as Integration Specialist/ AnalystAPI Management advantageousCoding BackgroundData structures and data transfer mechanismsExperience in creating, editing and reading of Schema definitions (XML, JSON)HL7 or FHIR knowledgeIntersystems IRIS for Health knowledgeSQL skills for queryingUnderstand the function design of services and APIs to meet information requirements including field in/output requirementsUnderstanding of integration and messaging architectureUnderstanding of integration protocols such as RESTful API, Web service, Queuing
