Role: Insurance AdministratorLocation: GqeberhaEmployment Type: Permanent.
Full time.
In officeWorking hours: 08:30am – 4:30pm (Mon-Fri) Our client an independent brokerage working with top life insurance and investment companies like Old Mutual, Ninety One, Sanlam, and many more.
We're seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Administrator to handle policy management, client support, and office administrative tasks.
Duties will include, but is not limited to:Process insurance policy applications, renewals, amendments, and cancellations.Maintain accurate client and policy records in the system.Liaise with insurance providers to obtain quotes, update policies, and address queries.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing policy-related inquiries.Prepare and send policy documentation and statements to clients.Coordinate with brokers to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.Assist with claims processing, including documentation submission and client updates.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.Provide general administrative support, including filing, reporting, and data entry.Identifying ways to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.
QualificationsMinimum of 5 years in insurance administration, policy servicing, or client support roles within the insurance or finance sector.Matric + additional certifications in insurance or customer service are an advantage.
Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and prioritize workflow.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.Strong emotional intelligence with a proactive mindset and critical thinking abilities.Reliable, honest, and a strong work ethic.
