Minimum Requirements:Red Seal Certification as an Instrumentation MechanicUnderstanding overall equipment efficiencyUnderstanding of cGMP and SOPsKnowledge of the latest OHS and Industry safety measuresAble to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematicsKnowledge of Lean and Six Sigma concepts Duties and Responsibilities:Assembling, installing, and modifying machines, instrumentation, and software.Testing equipment to ensure it meets validated standards.Maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and instrumentation.Using specialized tools and OEM guidelines for repairs.Maximizing equipment uptime and efficiency.Provide expert maintenance support to Manufacturing and Packaging Operations.Identify and repair machine issues through testing, repairs, and part replacements.Dismantle and replace old machines or machine parts with new technologies.Conduct preventative maintenance, including identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn parts, and lubricating mechanical components.Troubleshoot machine issues to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Perform and follow written setup and maintenance procedures for machines and equipment.Perform size-changeovers on packaging lines and prepare for various product formats.Collaborate with contractors to complete maintenance tasks.Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.Support Quality Assurance by assisting with equipment IQ, OQ, and PQ validations PLEASE NOTE: Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
