Instrument Field Technician

Leading Laboratory instrument supply company seeks a Field Service Technician
Responsibilities:

Technical fault-finding and maintenance services on analytical and chemical laboratory instruments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings: mechanical, electronic, and flow systems.
Quoting, ordering stock, writing technical reports, planning service trips including travel and accommodation for three months ahead.
Breakdowns and problem solving on analytical and chemical laboratory instruments.
Working with customer base to ensure good relationships are maintained.
General administration and maintenance of customer database.

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Must have excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English, written and spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft OS, Microsoft Office, and basic knowledge of networking.
Own transport and valid driver's license.
Previous experience in field service and exposure to laboratories would be advantageous.
