Institutional Client Operations Analyst

The Client Operations Team is a client servicing team based in South Africa and globally.
The team works closely with the strategic client relationship team in the client servicing of a designated set of clients, invested via an Investment Management Agreement or equivalent.
This is dependent on the complexity and demands of each client, to ensure that pro-active high-quality service is delivered.Responsibilities: Liaise professionally with clients (new clients, restructures, performance, off-market trade queries, etc.
)Be effective at query management and resolutionLiaise with investment operations, Client Managers, PMs, performance & attribution, dealing, implementations, finance, fund operationsPerform ongoing KYC of clientsEffective liaison with back-office administratorsProvide information/support to Client ManagersUpdate of CRM systemIdentify inefficiencies in processesContribute to ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining processesRequirements:B. Comm/B Bus Sci or other similar degree3 - 5 years investment management industry experience, preferably in a role with exposure to institutional client operations within asset managementClient relationship management experience in the investment management industryFinancial market knowledge (instruments and products)Financial accounting experienceAdvanced MS ExcelAttributions:A strong belief in doing the right thingIntellectual curiosityAmbition, balanced with decency and humanityAbility to analyse, interpret and assimilate information
