This is a pivotal role for a data-driven professional who excels at transforming complex data into actionable insights that influence strategy, enhance customer experience, and drive growth. As the Insight Manager, you will lead the analysis of market trends, customer behaviour, and business performance, collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to optimise decision-making and support business success. Key Responsibilities: Analyse large and complex datasets (sales, market trends, customer insights) to produce reports that inform strategic decisions across marketing, product, and sales teams. Lead research efforts to understand customer behaviour using both quantitative and qualitative methods, uncovering key insights that shape product development, marketing strategies, and customer engagement. Keep abreast of industry trends and market dynamics through competitor analysis, market research, and benchmarking, providing the leadership team with insights into potential opportunities and risks. Partner with marketing, sales, product development, and finance teams to ensure insights are embedded in decision-making processes and aligned with business goals. Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to support long-term strategic planning, with a focus on improving customer experience, product positioning, and brand differentiation. Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, new product launches, and promotions, ensuring KPIs are met and identifying areas for optimisation. Create compelling, easy-to-understand dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to effectively communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders. Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and data literacy within the organisation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus). 5+ years of experience in insights, analytics, or market research roles, preferably within the cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG sectors. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret large datasets and turn them into clear, actionable insights. Proficiency in analytics and data visualisation tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Analytics. Experience with statistical software (SPSS, SAS) is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights clearly and engagingly to senior stakeholders. Deep understanding of consumer behaviour, industry trends, and the competitive landscape within the cosmetics and beauty industry. A commercially minded individual with the ability to align data insights with business goals and drive strategic initiatives. Proven experience in managing and developing a team, as well as leading cross-functional projects.
