Job Purpose:The purpose of the Inside Sales Professional (ISP) is to identify and serve the needs of our customers, assist them in obtaining products or information, and provide excellent customer service while filling the many needs of customers.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Process customer orders received in person (at the sales counter) or by phone, fax, and E-Commerce to include company transfers and delivery requests.Locate parts, equipment, and supplies for our customers from various sources.Support long-term business relationships with our customers to help promote sales growth and gain acceptance.Assist in warehouse duties, which include pulling customer orders and putting away stock while occasionally operating a forklift.Promote new and existing products, upgrades, and services to our customers.Assist customers with technical support and problem-solving.Identify prospective/future customers through store or phone sales and communicate prospects to the sales team (Territory Managers or Account Executives).Maintain a professional atmosphere of the sales facility by restocking and maintaining both showroom shelves and product displays.Process warranties.Process Cycle Counts and assist in maintaining the accuracy of physical inventory.Make occasional deliveries using a company vehicle.Participate in after-hours On Call and Training classes.Work overtime as assigned.Work cooperatively with others.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.2 years of experience in the HVAC industry, preferred.Proficient in computers, including MS Office.Forklift experience.Possess a valid driver's license.Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies.Qualify for and remain insurable under the Company liability insurance policy.Qualify under federal and state regulations to drive the vehicle in question.Travel Requirement:5% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry-related conferences and training requiring some extended stay.Other:This job description is not an exhaustive list of all functions that the employee may be required to perform, and the employee may be required to perform additional functions.
