The Infrastructure Tier 2 Engineer will provide advanced support for the companys IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, performing system maintenance, and ensuring the reliability and security of the infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentKey Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage systems. Provide advanced support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems etc. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from Tier 1 support and NOC team. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance. Implement security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats. Manage and maintain virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Collaborate with other IT team members to support and improve IT services. Assist in the deployment and configuration of new infrastructure components. Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures. Document IT infrastructure configurations and procedures. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a similar role. Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching, as well as server hardware and storage solutions. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred certifications include CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, and Fortinet Network Security Professional (NSE 4).Working Conditions: Full-time position May require occasional evening or weekend work On-call availability for emergency situations
