We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technician who is comfortable with executing on a range of duties related to the assembling, testing and maintenance of our mast network.
This role demands that you be proactive, resourceful, hands-on, highly responsible and able to take initiative.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the building and rigging of masts.
Crimping of RJ45s.
Cabling on masts and testing of cables.
Network cabinet building.
Maintenance of network cabinets.
Maintenance of mainmast structures.
Assembling of links.
Assembling of sectors.
Hanging and aligning of point to point links.
Hanging and aligning of sectors.
Proactive monitoring of sectors.
Maintenance of links and sectors.
Utilizing software packages that might pertain to the role.
Deployment on all infrastructure tasks relevant to the business, as and when required.
Fully live out the ikeja values and drive the ikeja culture across the business.
Requirements Qualification: Matric certificate.
Working at Heights certificate.
Fall Arrest Training certificate.
Experience: Experience working at heights.
Knowledge of the use of basic tools, such as: spanners, sockets, drills and other operational electrical tools.
Experience in the WISP, networking or telecommunications space.
Proven experience in working on sites / in the field.
Other requirements: Must have a driver's license, valid for at least 1 year.
Prepared to be on standby and work overtime when needed.
Must be medically fit.
No criminal record.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Previous safety awareness and exposure.
Technical skills relevant to telecommunications.
