An international company, currently expanding rapidly, is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Team Lead to join their dynamic team.
This permanent position is based in Durban, offering a hybrid work model that combines the best of remote and in-office work.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a high-performing infrastructure team to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the companys IT infrastructure.Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, storage, and networking hardware.Ensure the availability, performance, and security of on-premises and cloud-based systems, primarily using Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Red Hat, VMware, and Windows Server.Collaborate with other departments to understand their needs and provide tailored infrastructure solutions.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the highest level of system and data security.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, advising on strategic enhancements and improvements.Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, with a focus on Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Red Hat, VMware, Storage, and Windows Server.Proven experience in leading and developing technical teams.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, or other related fields are highly desirable.What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a fast-growing, international company.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Hybrid work model offering flexibility and work-life balance.Career development opportunities and support for professional growth.If you are a motivated and experienced IT professional looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
