We have a client-side opportunity for a Deputy Infrastructure Manager (similar titles: Deputy Project or Construction Manager) to join the management team at a major London-based highways transportation provider.Location: East LondonThe scope of the work will be to oversee a team of highway contracting partners, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of a range of road improvement schemes.As this is a client-side role, we're looking for applicants with experience in project management, contracting & supplier partnership management, stakeholder liaison, and good planning & programme skills.Applicants with experience of working client-side, within either a Civil Engineering/Project Management Consultancy, Local Authority, National Highways, TfL or similar organisation could prove advantageous, although we welcome applicants from the Civil/Highway Contracting sector.Candidates must hold a formal qualification in Civil Engineering (BSc or similar University level qualification), coupled with at least five years of practical experience in the UK Infrastructure sector, ideally highways, bridges, and tunnels. Chartership, or working toward it, would be beneficial.
