Title: D365 Information Systems AnalystArea: GautengRef No.: TRG 2120Salary: Market related TCTC available/negotiableStart Date: As soon as possible / Immediate (Negotiable)An opportunity for an experienced D365 INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST (with Microsoft Systems certification) is required for permanent employment based in Gauteng.Duties & ResponsibilitiesExecute and manage information systems projectsReview information systems change requests from the business and qualify their technical feasibility.Execute and manage information systems related projects, ensuring each project is adequately and timeously:ScopedPlannedDesignedDevelopedTestedImplementedSupportedCompile business/functional requirements documents (including process mapping)Understand the needs of the business and determine how the information systems can enable and support those needs by:Proactively identifying opportunitiesReactively listening to and understanding business needsDocument the business needs in appropriate business/ functional requirements documentWhere relevant, map out as-is and to-be business processes and data flowsCompile system design and specification documentsDesign and document system changes and specifications for new/changed system functionalityEnsure design makes appropriate use of existing components to minimise costEnsure design maximises process efficiency and includes measures to monitor its effectivenessFollow security by design principles to ensure security, privacy and confidentiality is inherent in all system development/changesDevelop (low code), configure & implement system changesDevelop certain changes / new functionality related to Dynamics 365 and Power Apps, working closely with 3rd party partners where necessary.Perform surface testing for changes/new functionalityDesign, plan and coordinate user acceptance testing before implementing changes/new functionalityImplement system changes following the company's change control procedureProvide level 3 support to usersAs a functional expert in the respective information systems functional area, provide 3rd level system or user support where level 1 & 2 support have been unable to resolve an issue or achieve the desired outcomeApply problem solving techniques to ensure all escalated issues are resolvedFor problems, perform root cause analyses to determine and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issuesIdentify where master data administration is not being performed adequately. Articulate and implement corrective action to ensure master data is appropriately maintained.Assist with business intelligence (BI) report developmentOn an ad hoc basis, assist in the development or maintenance of BI reportsContinuously identify opportunities for business process and/or system functionality enhancementsProactively identify opportunities for business process and/or system enhancements that will add further value to the businessRemain up-to-date with the Microsoft technology stack as relevant to that used or to be used by the companyProactively ensure your knowledge remains up to date with the Microsoft technology stack as relevant to that used by the companyProactively suggest the adoption of new technologies / functionality that becomes available that may add value to the companyWork effectively with 3rd party partners where relevant on projects and supportCertain activities will involve working with 3rd party partners.
