This role involves establishing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, while driving the cybersecurity vision to ensure the organization's defences are robust, scalable, and future-ready. The Information Security Manager influences and guides executive leadership on security matters, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into strategic business decisions. The role requires close collaboration with IT and other business units to ensure security is seamlessly integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations, from infrastructure to application development and beyond. In addition to assessing and mitigating risks, responding effectively to security incidents, and ensuring compliance, the Information Security Manager leads employee training and engagement initiatives to promote a culture of security awareness across the organization. The role emphasizes innovation and continuous improvement in security practices, keeping the organization agile and responsive to emerging threats. The Information Security Manager is also accountable for establishing key security metrics and regularly reporting on the effectiveness of security initiatives to the executive team, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
