What will you do?Assisting, performing and reporting on key information security activities such as:o User access and identity management on applications, operating systems, storage, databases and sftp.o Reporting and follow ups with regards to Anti-Malware, Anti-Virus, Security patching of all IT related hardware/software.o Investigate and resolve logical access incidents.o Provide afterhours & weekend support as part of project involvement and when requiredo Document and update necessary processes & procedures.o Assist and respond to audit requirements in a timeous manner.o Conduct and complete regular access reviews in allocated timeframes.o Actively investigate solutions to improve security processes.o Assist to prepare reports of their findings to be reported to management.o Conduct technical and administrative activities as required from a project and day to day perspective.o Maintain/build upon security related policies and procedures.
o Provide in-house "hands-on" problem investigation, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and support to other internal staff and other IT Team members.
Assist as requested in problem solving and troubleshooting to help improve their skill levels.
Knowledge and Skills o Understanding of IT and Information Security.o Proficient in Microsoft OfficeQualification and Experience o Matric, IT related certificate or related qualification from a tertiary institution.o Experience with Windows/Linux server administration is a advantageouso 3 years' experience in information security or related field Behavioural Competencies Ability to work under pressure.
