Job DescriptionMain purpose of the roleThe IPL Graduate is a member of the Program Core Team, and responsible for the Launch of the Program in his/ her plant.Essential responsibilities and dutiesThe main mission of the role are to: TEAM MANAGEMENTAct as the interface between the Program Core Team and the PlantDefine and manage the PlantProgram Launch Team required resourcesParticipate in APQP meetings, Design Reviews, etc.PROCESS DEFINITION AND PRODUCTION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENTSupport Process Definition, manufacturing feasibilty and process capability studiesDocument ERP system: PBOM(s), RoutingsImplement all changes related to process and production system and/or related to the productProduction Line definition using standard group methodologiesValidation of design of Equipment, Tools and Gages at supplierPRODUCTION LAUNCHManage Production preparation and ramp- upImplement all Process FMEA defined actionsManage Process Qualification and Production Part Approval ProcessTARGETS AND REPORTINGReport on a regular basis the progress of his/ her launch(es) (e.g.
scrap/ rework/ cycle times/ material cost/ launch cost)Qualifications and position requirements The ideal candidate will have/be:Relevant Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification, ideally in mechanical or industrial engeeringHave a sound understanding of Work study principles and Work measurement toolsA detail orientated person with analytical abilities and a structured and methodological wayDynamic and proactive behaviour70% Overall achievement on full academic resultsFirst experience in production environmentProven experience in project managementExcellent skills in MS office, SAP R3 and AUTOCADExcellent reporting and presentation skillsInternational mindsetMinimum bi-lingual (English required)
