A large Industrial Refrigeration Manufacturing company is looking for an experienced candidate with experience gained in the Commissioning of HVAC systems.Cape Town based. Preferred candidate live in Cape TownResponsibilities:Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of industrial refrigeration systems, ensuring they are installed, tested, and operational according to specifications.Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the ongoing efficiency and reliability of refrigeration systems.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with refrigeration systems, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of commissioning processes, maintenance activities, and system performance.Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant safety standards and regulations, including the handling of refrigerants.Project Management: Manage projects from start to finish, coordinating with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial refrigeration, with specific experience in commissioning and maintenance.Technical Skills: Proficiency in ammonia-based refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, and industrial cooling solutions.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex refrigeration issues.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.Certifications: Relevant certifications in refrigeration engineering and safety standards.Preferred Qualifications:Project Management: Experience with project management software and methodologies.Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians.Innovation: A proactive approach to finding innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.
