The successful candidate will be responsible for transitioning engineering designs and data into production, forming a key part of the engineering release process. This role involves managing industrial and process engineering functions, including reviewing and approving sub-systems for build feasibility, setting up detailed production line process models, and investigating production line issues. The person needs to be a self-starter with attention to detail and bring a positive energy to the work environment, with a willingness to excel in their role.Requirements:Bachelor's / B Tech Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification(s)5 years plus of post-graduate in industrial and process engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line dynamics.Experience with time studies and production line optimization.Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams.3D Modeling Software Experience (would be an advantage)Willing to travel overseas for variable periodsResponsibilities:Transition engineering designs and data into production, ensuring seamless integration and implementation.Participate in the engineering release process, ensuring all industrial and process engineering functions are addressed.Collaborate with the engineering team to review and approve sub-systems for each product line in terms of build feasibility.Develop detailed production line process models detailing how and where subassemblies are installed on the production floor.Investigate and resolve issues found on the production line, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Conduct time studies and production line optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to align engineering projects with business objectives.Maintain thorough documentation of process models, methodologies, and findings.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency.Key Skills:Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production line dynamics.Proficient in data analysis.Strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to work under pressure and multitask.Excellent Written and Verbal Communication (English)Computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Working Hours:08h00 – 17h00, Monday to Friday (subject to change) with core hours and flexi time, and may require overtime if operationally required.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
