Job Description
To plan, implement and improve functions to support meeting the company's manufacturing objectives and business objectives according to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.
Key Performance Areas:

Conduct man assignment and line balance studies to ensure the best utilisation of labour and optimum labour costs within areas of delegated responsibility.
Standard Labour Costing: Determine the standard / estimated times for all operations required for product RFQ's and provide this information to the Costing Department.
Packaging and dunnage design, customer liaison, cost saving and implementation.
Study and observe implemented systems daily and implement corrective actions as required.
Report irresolvable non-conformances to TIE Team Leader and Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Undertake any other projects or tasks as assigned by Management from time to time, ensuring required levels of efficiency and professionalism within the department.

Requirements:

An Industrial Engineering Degree / Diploma
At least 3-4 years industrial engineering experience in an automotive environment
Packaging experience would be a distinct advantage
Ability to assist in the design of factory layouts
Computer literacy must include MS Word, MS Projects, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
Must have the ability to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills.
