JOB TITLE & PURPOSE OF THE JOB Job Title : Industrial Data Engineer (Industrial Key User) Job Code : IN-IA-05 Purpose of the job: Ensure proper and correct Master Data management i.e.
M-BOM, Routings, Material Master, Work Centres, Tools, Documents, Train end users on IND scope, coach & provide support Build good governance around IND Master Data management, reviews, audits, validations Measure and monitor system Usage Ensure that the industrial Master Data are well implemented in the different systems ( ERP, AOS) Support the implementation of new systems and their updates.
Manage industrial changes effectively on ERP system, industrialize Engineering BOM to suite manufacturing.
POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION Organization structure: Reports directly to: PM GSI / Industrial Data Manager Other reporting to: N/A Direct reports: N/A Network & Links Internal Operational functional teams Cluster Key Users and Industrial Data network RBPE team IS&T Business partner PME department ERP End users External Third parties involved in GSI project KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ERP Data quality & material master validation-Material Management Ensure the creation and maintenance of Material Master Data for the Industrial fields and validate data in alignment with Industrial flows.
Analyse all ERP data inconsistencies coming from/impacting various departments: warehouse, manufacturing, logistics method, industrialization, sourcing and ensure compliance to Internal financial rules.
Analyse ERP error messages specific to master data quality and implement corrective actions.
Develop routines and governance to assess master data integrity and maturity.
Support Engineering in Industrialization of Bill of Materials.
Industrialize changes on ERP, manage effectivities.
Support PME in Material Management, Work Centre, BOM (Bill of Materials) and Routing Management governance.
Pilot the implementation of the following data in the systems after updates: M-BoM, P-BoM, Routings, Work Centers, Tooling, Purchasing File.
Ensure good end to end flow to industrial ERP changes.
Ensure the consistency of data between the different systems (GSI & AOS) Manage the impacts of engineering and process changes in the systems.
Ensure accuracy of M-BoMs, perform BOM audits and validate data as routine.
Perform data audits and, track and generate KPIs.
ERP technical support & continuous improvement-MM Referent for final users in case ERP dysfunction.
Ensure Hot-line link with ITC for all ERP incidents and change requests.
Write Business specifications and make acceptance test.
Participate in working groups with IT functions and Production Management to optimize the ERP using processes.
Lead new SAP implementation/changes in the domain of responsibility.
Training Be the local referent for any support need related to ERP usage.
Contribute to training documentation issuing at central level and write local documents if necessary.
Train new entrants & refresher training for existing users on their specific area of competence EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCES Educational Requirements: Mandatory: Degree in Industrial / Process (Other qualifications might be considered subject to the level of ERP experience Location Mobility Experience: Mandatory: Similar experience of 3-5 years in an industrial environment / Industrial Data Key User Advance ERP working knowledge: SAP (MM, PP), Sound understanding on Material Master Management, BOM Management, Routing and Work Centre Management, Production Planning, Good knowledge of Manufacturing, Process Engineering and Supply Chain processes Competencies & Skills Agile Mindset Inclusive Mindset Responsible Mindset Effective Communication Teamwork Results Orientation Decision Making Change Management Problem Solving & Support to Users Analytical Detail orientated Self-starter and independent Expert mindset You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
