Incident Responder (Cissp, Cism, Giac)

We are looking for a diligent and experienced Incident Responder to join our client's team in Sandton.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' proven experience in incident response. Your main duties will include identifying and mitigating the impact of security incidents, determining their root causes, and implementing precautionary measures to prevent their recurrence.

Job Responsibilities include:Respond to computer security incidents quickly and effectively.Initiate and manage incident response activities.Collaborate with various departments to eliminate security vulnerabilities.Conduct root cause analysis and offer remedies.Take preventive measures to mitigate future incidents. Job Requirements:A minimum of 2 years' experience in incident response.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are preferred.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
