A travel company that offers Inbound DMC (Southern Africa) tours and services catering to various international and domestic wholesaler markets is looking for Inbound Wholesale Consultants based in Durban (Hybrid / Remote Working).
Communicate with client to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodations required.
Determine cost of travel and accommodations, carrier tariff sheets, and hotel rate sheets, or quote package tour's costs.
Book transportation and hotel reservations, and any other services required by cliente.
Plan, describe, arrange, and sell itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives offered by various travel carriers.
Prepare final travel documentation including travel itinerary and vouchers for all services.
Provide customer with travel information
Print or request transportation carrier tickets
Preparing the file for the accounts department for processing, invoicing, and paying supplier invoices.
Send proof of payments to suppliers
Knowledge required:
Grade 12
A formal qualification in Tourism
Experience in inbound travel & tours, wholesale experience would be an advantage
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing clients with the required level of service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of the sub-Saharan Africa location of countries and cities.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Fluent in English
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
