We aim to be a centre of excellence in strategic health and development communication programs that are centred around meaningful Community Engagement.Reporting RelationshipsThe In-School Manager reports to AYP Programme Manager. The position supervises In school-based teamsRoles and ResponsibilitiesLead the overall planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and reporting of the In- school AYP program in the Subdistrict to achieve results against set objectives.Oversee overall mapping of schools and supportive services.Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders i.e. government departments, schools, community leadership and all other relevant stakeholders.Advocate for the implementation of the in-school AYP program activities with the various school management teams (i.e. SMTs, DMTs, SGBs) as well as district and local leaderships forums.Ensure the in-school AYP program supports and is aligned with the new DBE HIV/TB/STI Policy, Integrated School Health Policy (ISHP) and other relevant government policiesWork with the AYP program strategic information (SI) team to ensure all program related data is collected, validated, reported and utilised accurately and timeously to inform and guide evidence-based program planning and implementation.Work with the AYP program SI team to ensure that the in-school AYP program staff have the necessary capacity to use biometric data management system as applicable.Assess and identify capacity needs of in-school AYP program staff and provide capacity building, mentoring, coaching and supportive supervision as appropriate.Actively participate in on-site data verification and routine data quality assessment DQAQualificationsAn appropriate 4-year Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, Social Science or equivalent qualification as recognized by SAQACurrent registration with the relevant regulatory body/authorityMinimum of 3 years' experience in a management/ supervisory roleGood writing skills that will enable the incumbent to compile reports Knowledge and experience of the education and the development sector.Able to engage with high level Departmental officials.Previous experience within an adolescents & youth programsSufficient knowledge of Department of Basic Education PoliciesRecognizable experience working with various stakeholders and participating in multi- stakeholder forums.Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skillsFinancial management skillsPerformance management and monitoring skills.High-level planning and problem-solving skills Must be dynamic, innovative, and self-motivated.Application ProcessInterested candidates should submit an updated CV to CCI Human Resources at ****** Please use the job title "In School – Bojanala" as the subject line for your application.Only email submissions will be accepted or considered.The closing date for applications is the 10 th of August 2024.Late applications will NOT be accepted or considered.
