CricViz has established itself as the market leader in the collection, analysis and dissemination of data across the world's leading cricket competitions. CricViz's future growth strategy is based around the development of a new suite of market leading products to support its clients across the Broadcast and Media, Professional Teams and Betting Segments.
CricViz have been selected to provide the CSA (Cricket South Africa) with official scoring and performance data for the upcoming season. We are looking to add people to join this exciting project at the following locations: Oudtshoorn, Bloemfontein and Gauteng.
ResponsibilitiesArrive in good time for the toss or start of playCollect ball by ball data during play covering basic scoring (runs, wickets, extras) and performance data (batting, bowling and fielding)Corroborate with scoring partners and verify the data after the matchRequirementsA love of cricket and in-depth knowledge of the teams and players in domestic men's and women's cricketFull knowledge and understanding of the laws of the gameGood IT and mouse skillsAbility to concentrate for long periods and excellent attention to detailReliability and punctualityAbility to travel to provincial cricket venues on match daysTo be considered you must live within easy traveling distance of the venues and have your own reliable laptopOver the course of the 2024 /25 season you will be expected to be available for matches played at the venues to which you applyThis will normally amount to around 20 days per yearFull training will be providedEquality & DiversityCricViz is committed to building an open and inclusive culture that supports personal development and learning.
