DescriptionThis leading Clothing Importer has a vacancy for an experienced admin Garment Imports Merchandiser with at least 5 years experience in this role. ResponsibilitiesMonitoring the critical path from brief from customer to delivery.Strong admin skills, ensuring all deadlines are met, strike-offs and trims approved, etc.Experience in liaising with offshore garment suppliers.Costing and negotiations with factories.Following up of samples, fabrics, swatches, trims, etc.Sample development process: Fit/PP/shipments: review/measure and send comments to factories and approval of fabric, colour, wash trims, etc.Making sure that shipments are on track.RequirementsQualifications: Relevant Degree/Diploma.
Experience: 5 years experience in a similar role.
Additional: Position located in Cape Town.
