DescriptionThe main purpose of this role is to support the Imports department in maintaining appropriate inventory levels and executing cost reduction initiatives for products and sea freight. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about international procurement and accustomed to working within a complex supply chain.

Solid understanding of incoterms (FOB + EXW + CFR) - MANDATORY
Experience3 - 4 years' experience in a similar role in Imports/procurement/shipping
ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, quantify and generate orders to meet the demand (System & Excel based).
§ Monitor and react to changes in the supply chain effectively and timeously.
§ Maintain the System and data templates.
§ Monitor, escalate and action supplier non-conformance.
§ Liaise with agents on VOCs and tariff determinations.
§ Maintain and update new and current supplier database.
§ Support the execution of new product development.
§ Letter of authority applications and levy returns
§ Liaise with freight agent, manage the importation delivery schedule. Escalate risks to shipments arrivals and manage the local delivery schedule nationally.
§ Manage freight rates and documentation.
§ Update System and planning schedules accurately and timeously with ETD's & ETA's and payment dates.
§ Distribute the information to the relevant stakeholders.
§ Expediting and checking for compliance for foreign and local payment documentation.
§ Keeping schedules updated with relevant product customs duties.
§ Stock queries in relation to ETAs.
