Import Controller

Join the team at an FMCG manufacturer as an Import Controller NDC Personnel & Contractors is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to manage the coordination of import shipment activities, including customs clearance and documentation. You will be at the forefront of our import process, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws, while collaborating closely with international suppliers, customs agents, and freight forwarders to guarantee the timely delivery of goods. In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring shipment movement, preparing and submitting essential documents, and keeping clients informed about the status of their imports. You will also work with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination, conduct inspections, and take proactive measures to resolve any issues that arise during the import process. To be successful, you will need a Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is essential, and you must have a strong understanding of customs procedures and international trade practices.
