Import Controller

While operating within this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for all aspects of the import process bor sea and airfreight.Requirements:2-3 years experience in an Import Controller role handling sea and airfreight within clearing and forwarding (non-negotiable).An entrepreneurial mindset.Ability to work within a team and indepedently.ShipShape experience is an added advantage.
Duties:Managing all aspects of the import process for both Sea and Air freight.Ensuring timeous customs clearance, releases, shipping, and transportation/delivery of cargo.Monitor, report on shipment statuses, proactively address any delays or issues, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.Negotiating rates for import services.Collaboration with internal teams.
