Import Controller

While operating within this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for all aspects of the import process bor sea and airfreight. Requirements: 2-3 years experience in an Import Controller role handling sea and airfreight within clearing and forwarding (non-negotiable). An entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to work within a team and indepedently. ShipShape experience is an added advantage. Duties: Managing all aspects of the import process for both Sea and Air freight. Ensuring timeous customs clearance, releases, shipping, and transportation/delivery of cargo. Monitor, report on shipment statuses, proactively address any delays or issues, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers. Negotiating rates for import services. Collaboration with internal teams.
