A DAY IN YOUR LIFE Perform configuration development and release management for the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) systemMaintain and grow insurance industry and technical knowledge competenciesCollaborate with configuration team, technical team, and business analysts to ensure OIPA system is configured to achieve the system behavior defined by the business requirementsParticipate in self-directed learning - specifically in configuration syntax and Insurance Business KnowledgeAnalyze and resolve basic problems to maintain data integrity, process integrity, and system performanceWork in a client service context, involving client interactions at various levelsMUST-HAVES Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial studies; and/or equivalent job experienceStrong analytical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong mathematical skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with XML, SQL, relational/entity databases, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Visio)Understanding of system design and development processesStrong English written and oral communication skillsAbility to deliver high-quality projects on time and within scopePositive attitude with the ability to work in an ever-changing environmentInquisitive and proactive approach with an ability to work independently and a desire to continuously learn new skills and technologiesAbility to take initiative and be a solution seekerAbility to thrive in a team environment and develop excellent relationships with othersNICE-TO-HAVES 1-3 years of experience working with the OIPA platform and/or equivalent job experienceKnowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflowSome exposure to SDLC (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)Product knowledge of insurance and/or annuity productsKnowledge of software testing best practicesYOUR BENEFITS Competitive compensation
