Reference: NCM001378-TS-2Fully Remote role - Based in DurbanCompany with software design and implementation requires the services of a skilled payroll implementation and consulting specialist.Duties & ResponsibilitiesImplementing the software at clients' premisesPerforming need analysis and payroll setup in such a way that all statutory requirements are met i.e. Tax requirements, UIF requirements, Basic Conditions of Employment Act etc. for RSA and Africa Clients (Angola, Nigeria, Swaziland) including Middle EastConsultations at clients which involve problem solving, giving advice on best practices, statutory issues, supporting clients with payroll processes and implementing modules.Assisting clients with their Tax Year Ends and Mid-year Tax Year Recon which involves E@syfile and SARS E-filingInvoicing clientsCompilation of consulting reports which are signed off by the clientsManaging own scheduleMeeting monthly targets which are based on consulting, training, and support hoursOn-site training at client's premisesTelephone Support to all clients, including gathering enough information to solve problems effectively, assessing the problem, and performing backup investigationLogging of calls on Call Logging System (CRM)Presenting Training CoursesStaying up to date with all statutory changesEstablishing a network with SAGE Payroll users in the industrySupporting upgrades and legal patchesDealing with ongoing client queriesTesting reported problems/queries for clientsHuman Resource ResponsibilitiesMaintaining the Human Resource procedures throughout the coastal region of South Africa in terms of the following aspects:Administering various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnelDevelopment & implementation of policies and proceduresPreparing and maintaining employee handbook and other department-related documentsParticipating in developing department goals, objectives, and systemsPerforming benefits administration to include change reporting, preparing invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employeesConducting recruitment efforts for all non-exempt personnel and temporary employeesMonitoring career pathing programs and writing/placing advertisementsEvaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goalsRecommending new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvementsMaintaining human resource records and compiling reports from databasesEnsuring compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employmentPayroll ResponsibilitiesTo ensure there is a clear audit trail for every transaction and that data is stored in a manner that ensures it can easily be retrieved:Preparing and maintaining personnel files for individual employeesEnsuring confidentiality of personal and payment recordsProcessing payrolls for financial year-end processingProviding timely action requests for transfer of long service leave entitlementsCalculating redundancy and termination calculationsProviding support and training in the payroll employee self-service applicationProcessing all Workcover related wages and payments and tracking medical threshold limitsReviewing and calculating timesheet data and hours workedCalculating salaries, wages, and overtime wage sheetsCreating and running salary sheets and reportsManaging, maintaining, and updating payroll-related dataUpdating salary sheets and schedulesAnswering and clarifying employees on payroll-related inquiriesSubmitting payroll reports and sheets on time to the finance or other related departmentsAssisting administrative or finance staff in processing payrolls of new hires or terminated onesCapturing all client personnel transactions (New hire, Termination, Pensions, Provident & Retirement funds, Medical aids, Unions, Benefits deductions, and any other relevant details)Gross to net salary calculation, audit, and balancingCompiling 3rd party and Vendor transactions, including preparations and submissions of the monthly and weekly bank files, PAYE, UIF, and SDL payments to the respective authoritiesMinimum RequirementsRequired Minimum Education / TrainingMatric plus 5+ years relevant experienceDegree/Diploma or a relevant tertiary qualification in IT and/or Payroll DiplomaCertifications relating to the payroll industry will be advantageousRequired Minimum Work ExperienceRelevant experience in Service, Consulting, and ImplementationIn-depth understanding of the customer services model and of the customers' business environmentIn-depth knowledge of PeopleWare and PayrollAt least 3 years' experience in Payroll and advanced ExcelGood understanding of the PeopleWare services in various industriesPackage & RemunerationR 170 - R 175 - HourlyContact me at the detail below.Thank you,Theresa SteenkampKey Account Manager - Network Contracting Solutionststeenkamp at networkcontracting co za
