Responsibilities Provides accurate and timely advice to clients and senior staff relating to immigration matters. Identifies relevant issues for each matter (procedural or legal). Research issues and formulates solutions for immigration cases, including completion of appropriate documentation. Follows strict risk management procedures in the provision of technical advice to clients and in the related correspondence. Make accurate notes on all client discussions. Manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders, adhering to timeframes. Contribute meaningfully to client meetings. Assist in and contribute to review and improvement of methods of managing client relationships. Ask relevant questions re matters assigned to you and have a clear understanding of what is expected. Inform senior staff w.r.t. progress and concerns constantly as to manage cases successfully. Delegate tasks, where appropriate to junior staff and provide clear instructions. Ensures that completed work is technically accurate, written work follows standard layouts and advice is clear and concise. Plans workload and sets realistic deadlines and priorities for own work, considering delivery expectations from client. Assist in technical training of staff. Follows strict procedures w.r.t. file maintenance, record keeping and use of Company systems. Qualifications and experience Matric plus a tertiary qualification relating to immigration, law, business management, documentation and professional writing, etc. Minimum 4 years related experience in a similar or related field. Skills and competencies Present professionally w.r.t. work/advice delivered, the relevant correspondence and documentation as well in conducting relationships with clients and other stakeholders. Attention to detail Excellent English writing skills Team player Punctuality General regard for authority, procedures and required documentation.
