Job DescriptionJob overview The Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and managing data pipelines and analytical solutions that drive strategic business decisions. This role requires expertise in modern data engineering tools and technologies, with a strong focus on Azure, Databricks, and Python/Pyspark together with great business engagement and data visualization and storytelling skills (with a focus on Power BI). Analytics Engineers work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and manage ETL pipelines using Databricks, Python/Pyspark, and SQL.Implement real-time data pipelines and ensure data is available for business needs in a timely manner.Develop and maintain dimensional models to support data warehousing and BI initiatives.Create and maintain interactive and insightful dashboards using Power BI.Utilize Azure DevOps and GitHub for code management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions.Optimize and manage cloud data architecture, with a focus on cost efficiency and performance.Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing.Technical Skills: Proficient in Azure, Databricks, and Python/Pyspark.Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub for code management and CI/CD processes.Advanced skills in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.Knowledge of dimensional modeling techniques and best practices.Experience in creating and managing ETL and real-time data pipelines.Understanding of cloud architecture (preferably Azure, but also familiar with AWS and GCP).Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure cost management and optimization strategies.Understand Manufacturing Operations business processes (MUST HAVE)QualificationsBachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
