Division: Sales and Marketing Position Overview: We are seeking a self-driven and motivated individual to join our Sales and Marketing Division.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in increasing market share for our ID products, including Commercial TVs, Monitors, Signage, and LEDs.
This role requires strategic planning and the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
Purpose: To drive the sales and market share growth of ID products and ensure consistent, profitable revenue growth through strategic planning and target achievement.
Key Responsibilities: ID / Signage Product Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategies and business plans for specific ID products.Align product strategies with overall business goals to support company growth.Understand consumer needs, identify market opportunities, define the product vision, and deliver results.Strategize and plan promotions based on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.Manage the entire product life cycle, from launch to sustaining existing products.In-Depth Product and Brand Knowledge: Drive growth of LG ID products, including monitors and signage.Increase market penetration of LED displays in indoor and outdoor markets.Communicate stock status per channel to Product Managers.Develop promotional campaigns tailored to specific channels and products.Conduct market share analysis and customer needs assessments to drive revenue growth.Accurate Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts by channel.Ensure sufficient stock levels in channels to meet targets.Budget Controls: Deliver return on investment and build brand sustainability.Ensure income targets are met and manage risks to achieve goals.Analyze performance against budget by unit and Rand value.Conduct account analysis by channel, including sell-out management, to establish profitability.Market Share Management: Understand buying potential by channel.Manage catalogue requirements and incentive programs.Conduct market surveys and analyses.Develop a strong understanding of merchandising.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, treating them as partners.Engage with key contacts, including PICs, PMs, Key Account Executives, Networks, and Retailers.Establish and review customer needs regularly.Deliver presentations, product training, and solutions to management.Assist with contractual agreements and ensure adherence.Innovate ways to grow the business with customers.Reporting: Prepare B2B sales force reports.Compile monthly management reports and meeting summaries.Develop presentations, proposals, plans, and contact reports.Provide progress reports on forecast accuracy and inventory plans against set targets.Required Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience.Experience in Key Accounts Sales and Marketing.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ID product sales.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Intermediate level).Possession of a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.Required Competencies: Ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals.Persistence and results-oriented mindset.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to function under pressure.Strong administrative and creative skills.Knowledge of reseller, distributor, and retailer operations.Understanding of the buying function.Strong customer liaison and interpersonal skills.Deep understanding of consumer buying behavior in consumer electronics.Negotiation skills for gaining support from retail managers for promotions and displays.Integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed.Who Are You?
