JOB TITLE – ICT PROJECT MANAGER
The ICT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing ICT projects within the hospitality industry. This role involves managing the project lifecycle from initiation to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed Business Case, Budget Approval documentation, Reports, Presentations on Project activities, status and roll out plan and Project Plans, Charters etc.
Define project deliverables and milestones, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Oversee and manage project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changes and unforeseen challenges.
Ensure that project objectives are met and deliverables meet quality standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and external partners.
Gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring stakeholder needs are understood and addressed.
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately.
Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring projects are delivered within the approved budget.
Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
Provide guidance and support to team members, resolving conflicts and promoting collaboration.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
Ensure all project documentation is complete and stored appropriately for future reference.
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet organizational standards and requirements.
Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT project management or a similar role in the Hospitality industry
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex ICT projects successfully.
Skills:
Strong understanding of ICT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
