Position Overview: This role requires a dynamic IT professional capable of frequent interaction with technical and non-technical employees, suppliers, and stakeholders. The ICT Manager will provide leadership and technical expertise to CTU Training Solutions' technology operations, managing systems and infrastructure to support a growing business. The role demands a proactive approach to managing resources, security, and policies, along with the flexibility to adapt as the organization transitions with technological advancements in the education sector. Main Responsibilities: Leadership and Management Define the structure and roles necessary for effective technology delivery. Establish daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cadences for technology delivery. Manage performance for IT/ICT staff, including training, mentorship, and professional development. Oversee project management, including definitions, timelines, and tracking for all ICT initiatives. Develop, monitor, and report on the IT/ICT budget. Maintain strong vendor management across all ICT needs. Handle problem and incident management to ensure seamless technology operations. Manage hardware and software lifecycle, from procurement to retirement. Create and enforce documentation and policies governing IT/ICT processes. Ensure IT/ICT integration into all aspects of the business through interpersonal collaboration and communication. Technical Delivery Ensure availability, performance, security, and ease of use for internal systems and infrastructure. Oversee unified communications and datacentre contracts, and manage ISP provisioned services like MPLS and DSL. Direct higher-tier support for Microsoft 365, Mountain Box/OpnSense NGFWs, Ubiquiti Network Solutions, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Server. Own and enforce the internal system security policy, data governance, and compliance. Develop and implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, ensuring regular maintenance and testing. Conduct monthly reporting to Directors on IT/ICT activities, issues, and achievements. Own the cybersecurity function for the organization, requiring an understanding of systems and platform security. Lead interoffice communication and programme management of the Internal Systems Roadmap. Manage procurement and deployment of end-user devices. Health and Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, prioritizing the safety of self and others in all technology interactions. Skills and Experience Must-Have Skills and Experience 5 years in a technical lead or senior technical role. 3 years of experience managing Microsoft 365 (certifications preferred). 2 years of experience in mid-tier enterprise networking (certifications preferred). 2 years in systems and platform security (certifications preferred). 3 years of experience in a management role, including experience with Agile development and product management methodologies. Proven success in influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels with a diverse blend of influencing styles. Demonstrable success in change management within a fast-paced environment.
