Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Repair Technician with a focus on mini-split systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC repair and maintenance, and while a refrigerant license is a plus, a willingness to obtain certification is essential. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mini-split heating and cooling systems.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mini-split HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and troubleshooting issues.Communicate effectively to explain the nature of repairs, costs, and provide recommendations for system improvements.Install mini-split systems and components as needed.Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations, including handling refrigerants in a safe manner.Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service.Qualifications:Required:Minimum 2 years of HVAC repair experience, with a focus on mini-split systems.Knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of HVAC systems.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Preferred:EPA refrigerant handling certification.Certification or degree in HVAC systems or related field.Experience working with both residential and commercial systems.Physical Requirements: This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, computer work and other physical activities.
