Proven working experience in mechanical engineering field, HVAC related Responsible for Commissioning, installation, maintenance and repairs of HVAC equipment.
Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
Install various HVAC components and systems, including split units and control systems.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Liaise with clients to understand requirements, ensure satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, repair records, and technical documentation.
Work closely with team members, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff as needed.
Be available for extended hours and weekends to address emergency situations.
Requirements N3-N6 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Trade Test (Refrigeration) SARACCA Certificate In-depth knowledge of installation, maintenance, repairs and servicing of different HVAC Systems, including chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, split units, VRF's/VRV, packaged units, air handling units, multistage evaporative cooling units and ventilation systems Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
