Join to apply for the HVAC INSTALLATION TECHNICIANS (GAUTENG) role at SFI Group (Pty) Ltd.Introduction And Role ContextThe HVAC Installation Technician is responsible for the installation of HVAC Units, split and chiller units, cooling towers; hanging equipment, running pipe and moving equipment. This position also prepares and secures complete materials lists, and maintains good communication with customers and project team members.Duties / ResponsibilitiesInstall HVAC equipment in accordance with work orders.Plan sequence of functions necessary for installation projects.Locate, diagnose and make repairs to ensure continuous, safe and efficient installation of all equipment.Keep supervisor appraised of work progress.Track and monitor all parts and materials used in installation activities.Ensure that final work meets quality standards and is inspected by Supervisor.Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers.Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.Timely completion of paperwork including but not limited to timesheets, on-site documentation.Required Qualification and Experience3 – 5 years HVAC Industry and installation experience.3 – 5 years' experience in HVAC or service industry.Proven experience working on new construction and retrofits projects.Valid driver's licence.Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.N4 Certificate (advantageous).Knowledge and ability to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.Internal organisational systems and controls.Be familiar with a wide range of equipment.Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and drawings.High level of technical competence.Additional CriteriaMeet required Qualification and experience as outlined above.Clear Criminal Record.Must reside in Gauteng.Sober Habits.DisclaimerCandidates who meet the requirements above may submit an updated copy of your CV on our website https://sfigroup.co.za/vacancies/ by no later than 20 February 2022.
