We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the continued growth and success of our company.Position Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Design Engineer to lead and support the design, specification, and implementation of HVAC systems for a wide range of projects. You will collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to develop HVAC solutions that meet client needs while adhering to local codes, regulations, and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Design HVAC systems for various projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection.Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP).Work closely with clients and project teams to define project requirements and ensure designs meet performance, budget, and schedule requirements.Provide technical support to construction teams during the installation and commissioning phases.Conduct site inspections to ensure the correct implementation of HVAC systems.Review and ensure compliance with building codes, energy regulations, and sustainability standards.Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that design and implementation phases are completed efficiently.Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.Key Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience in HVAC design engineering (commercial or industrial experience preferred).Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air handling units, chillers, boilers, pumps, ducts, piping, and controls.Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot design and system issues.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
