Key Accountabilities/ Principle Responsibilities Primary DutiesPerform semi-skilled technical assistance to Technician in designated area:Provide support with planned maintenanceProvide support with fault findingProvide support with installationsLaying cables in trenches, ducts and racks, including the securing of such cablesCleaning of machineryGreasing and oiling machineryAssist with moving objects and equipmentChanging wheels on equipmentAssist in keeping the workshop tidy and presentable at all timesCarry out reasonable semi-skilled labour requests as required in designated areaEnsure that all tools used are well maintained, and the correct tools are used for the relevant tradeAdhere to AFMS Policies, Protocols and ProceduresEnsure compliance to Occupational Health and Safety ActIt should be noted that, for operational reasons, it may be necessary to perform tasks other than those described herein from time to time.
