Hv Electrical Engineer

Responsible for the design, development and implementation of High voltage Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety and operational requirements.Develop and review electrical configurations for BESS.Design, prepare, simulate, test, and implement design, drawings, technological concepts, reports and solutionsProvide technical support during the design, construction, testing and commissioning phasesAssist technicians in project executionCreate accurate project specificationsEnsure engineering deliverables meet project schedules and quality standards.Manage the integration of engineering designs and deliverables across various disciplines including but not limited to electrical, structural, civil and fire protection.Actively participate in technical planning and timeline discussions to manage project deliverablesEnsure all designs comply with safety standards, operational requirements and project specificationsStay updated with industry standards and codes relevant to high voltage systems and BESSSkills:Ability to understand and speak Afrikaans and English (MUST)Expertise in design and software for high-voltage systemsStrong product life cycle engineering experienceExcellent planning and organizing skillsHigh level of problem solving and analytical thinkingEffective communication skills and teamwork capabilities.High Energy levels and the ability to thrive under pressureQualificationBEng (Electrical/BSc (Electrical Engineering) or similarMinimum 4 years work experience in same or similar roleProven experience in High Voltage design.Proficiency in IT and relevant engineering software.
