Applicants must reside in South Africa to be eligible for this position.Job DescriptionMISSION: We're looking for a dynamic Human Resources Manager (HRBP) to join our team and act as a key link between company leadership and employees.
In this role, you'll support our organization's goals by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives while championing talent development and organizational culture.RESPONSIBILITIES:Implement HR Policies & Procedures: Lead the roll-out of HR initiatives, focusing on talent acquisition, compensation, and employee development to ensure alignment with our company's vision.Guide Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage the full employee lifecycle—recruitment, onboarding, development, promotion, and exits—while ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.Support Talent Attraction & Selection: Collaborate closely with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and participate in final interviews to evaluate cultural fit and candidate potential.Drive Training & Development Initiatives: Identify training needs, oversee learning programs, and ensure development plans align with company strategy.Guide Reward Decisions and Oversee Compensation and Benefits: Guide management in applying groupwide annual merit and compensation awards; oversee monthly payroll processing, including benefits management.Manage Employee Relations: Guide managers and employees to resolve misconduct and performance issues and act as a key liaison in all trade union negotiations.Oversee General Services staff, including office management and IT.Act as the Compliance Officer for the South African business, supported by the Compliance Department in our corporate office.Required Skills and CompetenciesQUALIFICATIONSEducation:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.Additional training in labor management, labor relations, or organizational development is desirable.Experience:10 years of experience in HR and at least 5 years as a Manager.Experience implementing policies and managing processes: selection, training, and talent development.Payroll and benefits management experience.Highly skilled at performance, misconduct, and incapacity management.Employee relations experience, able to foster a positive work environment and effectively address employee concerns and conflicts.Experience in Skills Development and Employment Equity reporting obligations.Languages: Advanced level of English (C1/C2)Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
