Human Resources Generalist (Fixed Term Contract)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background, with prior experience in the retail industry. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations. This individual will work closely with management to ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures. Responsibilities: - Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions and post job openings - Conduct phone and in-person interviews to identify qualified candidates - Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions - Develop and implement training programs for employees at all levels - Provide support to managers in addressing employee performance issues - Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate solutions - Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws - Handle all aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field - 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the retail industry - Strong knowledge of HR best practices and current employment laws - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - High level of confidentiality and professionalism - SHRM certification is a plus If you are a dedicated HR professional with a passion for the retail industry, we would love to hear from you.
