In this role, you collaborate with stakeholders to align HR initiatives within the Ferrero Ithemba BU focusing on a variety of people-focused interventions within the HR generalist scope.Main Responsibilities:Ensure monthly payroll execution with input from all key functions.Support functions with talent acquisition needs including onboarding and check-in of new joiners.Contribute to the communication agenda of BU through various communication platforms.Continuously keep abreast of regulatory compliance standards (internal and external) and ensure awareness of same at both line management and employee levels.Drive data integrity to ensure compliance with group/BU expectations (includes reporting).Ensure adequate office management support (rentals, groceries, other services).Support learning objectives as per people plan.Support positive employee relations climate through timely resolution of people matters and driving of culture and engagement initiatives.Ensure BU compliance of group processes (Overheads, Workforce Planning, Performance Evaluation, Organizational Health, Employee Life Cycle, etc).Monitoring and reporting (monthly/quarterly).Contributing to the implementation of people plans/strategies/deliverables.Ownership of HR operational processes and standards.Continuously ensure optimal support for people to enable meeting of company objectives.Who we are looking for:Minimum 4 years HR generalist exposure through serving corporate functions (pre-requisite).3 year qualification in Commercial and Human Resources Management / Industrial Psychology.Knowledge and exposure to leading/implementing culture and engagement initiatives (proven track record, pre-requisite).Understanding and experience of labour laws including CCMA processes (preferred).Know-how of people deliverables and strategy execution thereof (proven track record, pre-requisite).Solid stakeholder management abilities (pre-requisite).Knowledge and experience of leading employment equity initiatives and submissions (preferred).Knowledge of SAP (proven track record, pre-requisite) and Success Factors.Facilitation experience (preferred).Ability to use data to derive insights and impact including weekly and monthly reporting.Excellent interpersonal skills with an appreciation for collaborative ways of work.How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
