Job summary Assist with office administration, HR administration and keeping personnel files up to date.
Support and advise management/staff members on HR related requests.ResponsibilitiesPersonnel administrationEnsure that you keep a record of all inductions on new personnelLiaise with SHEQ representative and monitor injuries on dutyOversee the processing of all WCA claims.
Ensure that the cycle is completed and the company has submitted all documentation in order for claims to be finalizedEnsure that the personnel filing system and all other HR records are maintained and updated as per the company standardsEnsure that all documentation for new employees are completed correctly and sent to payroll by the specified date and then filed accordinglyProcess and manage the leave applications and leave records of all personnelEnsure that the leave record information is sent to payroll at the appointed time each monthProvide administrative support to the HR Administrator / ManagerAssist and resolve payroll queries in conjunction with line managersAttend to confirmation of employment enquiries, in line with the Protection of Personal Information ActEnsure that the organogram is kept updatedAbsconding procedure: ensure that the spreadsheet is kept updated and that correct procedures are followedForeign nationals: update and manage permit record spreadsheet.
Ensure that the correct procedures are followed with regards to the renewal of permits as well as failure to renew permitsAttend to any other administrative duties that may be required for the efficient running of the HR departmentAssist with managing the HR Administrator / Manager calendarOffice administrationAssist with all the meeting room and boardroom bookings and ensure the equipment is ready for the meetingsSupport with administrative tasksHelp with filling or copying of documents when requestedAssist with additional tasks relevant to the position as requested from time to time as new skill sets have been learnedRequirementsRelevant Degree or DiplomaMinimum 1 year working experience in the HR and admin fieldHigh proficiency in Microsoft OfficeMust be well presented, professional and have excellent communication skillsEmployment will be implemented in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.Only Applicants considered for the role will be contacted.Closing date: 02nd October 2024Should you wish to apply, please follow the online application process.
