Overview
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Administrator to join their team in the mining industry in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all HR-related tasks, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, and supporting recruitment and training activities.
Responsibilities:
Administer HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and industry regulations
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain employee records and databases
Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures
Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
Coordinate and conduct employee training sessions
Assist in developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives
Handle employee relations issues and provide support to managers in addressing disciplinary matters
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as needed
Support the HR Business Partner in extracting, compiling, distributing, and record-keeping relating to daily, weekly, and monthly payroll and ad hoc HR reports
Consolidate and compile various information required for reporting purposes
Conduct internal audits on various HR processes
Requirements:
Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role in the mining industry
Knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Two to four years of relevant HR administration experience
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI-SPHR) is a plus
Valid driver's license
