As HR / Talent Manager, you will be responsible for all HR functions including employee relations, training and development, performance management, and industrial relations:
Management of the HR team including HR Generalist, IR Lead, Training and Development ManagerLead the social committee and work within the annual budget to create a fun, open, and transparent company cultureAssist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programsSupport the performance management process by coordinating performance appraisals, goal setting, and feedback sessionsWork closely with the Training and Development Manager to implement Learnerships in the retail space and leverage off the WRSETAEmployee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, incentives, and employee benefits enrolmentPrepare HR reports and analytics on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, recruitment, training, and performanceEnsure that any disputes between the employees and the employer are dealt with swiftly in conjunction with the IR LeadEnsure compliance with the EE ActRequirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behaviour or Development, Organizational Psychology, or a similar fieldProven experience as an HR Manager or similar roleGood knowledge of labour legislation – LRA, BCEA (specifically employment contracts, employee leave, and Unions)Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organizationExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
