The HRBP: Talent is responsible for the full 360-degree recruitment cycle, including developing and implementing attraction strategies, sourcing and interviewing potential candidates, managing the onboarding of new employees and using data to identify and resolve trends related to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, diversity and staff retention. This is a hybrid role based at our offices in Rosebank, JHB.
You will be responsible for: Recruitment: Role Scoping and Job Description Development: Collaborate with department heads to proactively define role needs. Co-develop and update job descriptions, including person specifications.Proactive Recruitment Planning: Proactively identify recruitment needs using staffing calculators.Job Offers and Contracting: Sign off on and offer jobs, then handle contracting for incoming employees and/or independent contractors.Sourcing and Recruitment: Lead and manage focused sourcing, searching, and outreach for key roles. Identify, build relationships with, and manage recruiting service providers and agencies.Relevant policies reviewed, updated and enforced.Attraction Strategies: Develop effective attraction strategies to attract suitable talent.Employee Experience: Candidate Experience Management: Oversee the candidate experience, ensuring appropriate feedback for every interviewee for key roles.Develop a deep understanding of product design, operations, structure, and needs to enhance relationships and collaboration.Develop and deliver talent acquisition frameworks, policies, procedures, toolkits, and guidelines.Organisational Structure Management: Conduct periodic reviews of the current organisation structure. Develop the organisational structure for a rolling three-year period, considering organisational design principles for best practice.Enhancing New Employee Experiences: Monitor that all new employees receive their assets, can access their various user accounts prior to their first day of work and undergo a valuable and structured onboarding experience.Compliance: Ensure alignment with employment equity priorities and obligations.Compliance with Employment Equity Legislation is maintained.Staff Retention: Co-create conditions that retain employees and enable them to perform and develop in their roles.Analyse monthly retention reports, identify trends and action items.Develop and implement action items to address retention issues in specific areas.Collaborate with National Product Managers and Product Managers to create personalised development plans for employees, tailored to their individual needs and career aspirations across products.Identify and nurture talent within LabourNet through succession pipelining and advanced people development programmes to drive future growth and success.Change management and business communication: Execute the group communication framework.Execute and implement a change and communication framework.Draft group awareness content such as newsletters to keep employees informed about business changes and developments.Coordinate and facilitate group and product townhalls to communicate updates and engage with employees.Performance Improvement: Balance Scorecard Implementation: Create, update, and implement Balance Scorecard templates (BSC) with relevant management.Review all Balance Scorecard scores and generate trend analysis reports.Staffing Calculator Maintenance: Regularly review and update the staffing calculator to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.You'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role: A NQF 8 Honours Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.Valid drivers license and own vehicle.Experience Required: Working knowledge of the Employee Lifecycle.Understanding of organisational design and staff retention strategies.Proven track record in identifying and engaging senior talent.Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage technology for sourcing strategies and decisions.Experience in organisational change and business transformation.Experience in organisational alignment.In return, we offer you: Culture: We pay attention to output rather than time spent, and we offer a flexible working environment.
